Absolutely gorgeous! This elegant new recording brings together the smooth vocal sounds of Manhattan Transfer, paired with one of the world's premiere orchestras, under the direction of Corey Allen. The production is so seamless, you'd never know that the orchestra tracks were recorded at one time, and the vocal tracks a few months later. This is a wonderful addition to any jazz collection!

"The legendary vocal group of all-time; The Manhattan Transfer released this new album in October, 'The Symphony Sessions.' The next thing I know is the 2006 version of the Grammy Award winning acappella arrangement of 'A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square.' The new versions of their classic albums like 'The Offbeat Of Avenues,' 'Mecca For Moderns,' 'Vocalese,' and 'Vibrate.' The greatest vocal group ever in my whole life, it's one of my favorite bands ever since Starland Vocal Band. "
