These fresh-faced and young-voiced singers do their best to contemporize traditional Hebrew songs and zemiros, much like the contemporary gospel group Acappella brought hymns and Christian songs of praise into the 21st century with some of their reworked arrangements. "Kumsitz" is total contemporary pop, complete with some nice vocal percussion work; they infuse "Schmorg," a very traditional melody, with that same modern spirit (along with some vocal trumpets). "L'Chupah" is a vocal harmony feast, with chord changes worthy of any boy band out there today. Produced by Beat'achon's Jordan Gorfinkel, this one is a great example of young male singers with plenty of energy and lots of - dare we say - 'chutzpah!' (57:05 2002)
