This 2004 release by New York contemporary groove masters Duwende garnered two Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) for 2005 - Best Contemporary Pop/Rock Album and Best Original Song for Abby Janes'/Morgan Phillips' "I Fall."

Powered by a driving bass provided by ex-Ex-Boyfriend Ari Picker, fueled by the inner vocal fire of Jason Baluyut, Edward Chung and Janes, and smoothed out by the soulful funky ministrations of Geoffrey Barnes, this one's got it all. spiralmouth wünderkid Gabe Mann mixed the CD (along with production by Chung), which accounts for it's ultra-clean, ultra-groovy sound. All the songs are originals, all are a cappella, and all are top-notch. Listen to this CD and hear the "face" of vocal band a cappella at its best. (39:23 2004)

"Had the chance to see them perform at University at Buffalo in October 2007--They were awesome!! Everyone moving to the music, bought the CD!! Very upbeat and positive!! I'm 55 years old and they are on my iPod!!!"
