About the group: The Stairwell Carollers is a choir of twenty-four voices based in Ottawa, Canada. The group was formed in 1977 by its director, Pierre Massie, then a student at the University of Ottawa. The first performances were in the stairwells of the University residences. Today, the Carollers present concerts during the Christmas season, and sing Renaissance music during the spring and summer months throughout Eastern Ontario.
A non-profit organization, they assist in raising funds for local charities through concerts and CD sales..
