The a capella octet, Voces8, is formed of a group of young singers from in and around London. The ensemble, with singers from institutions including the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, have been singing together since the summer of 2005. The repertoire performed by the group is extensive, ranging from early 13th century polyphony through to 20th century pop songs. As well as performing this diverse array of music, Voces8 also perform music arranged specifically for the group to sing. (Biography taken from the group's web site.)
