Okay, people, these kids ROCK! Seriously...All you have to do is load up the CD, and hear the opening strains of rousing contemporary gospel number "Crown Him With Many Crowns" to know that they certainly "got the spirit" and want to share it with everyone within shouting (or singing) distance! From Jazz scorcher "I Can Cook Too" that'll have you be-bopping around the room (what a killer rhythm section!) to country contemporary "Bless the Broken Road" to an AWESOME cover of A-Ha's 80s hit "Take On Me", they rock it ALL, folks. You so need to check out the sound files to believe these singers - really!

The Brentwood Academy Singers are a mixed group from Brentwood Academy Christian school in Tennessee, and have appeared on the BOHSA (Best of High School A Cappella) compilation CD three (!) times - in 2004, 2005, & 2006. This very talented group of high school students from Tennessee gives us a very mature performance, on this, their first recording under the direction of Maribeth Johnson. Check out their 2005 CD too! *Note: Many of the tracks are accompanied, and are noted as such with an asterisk below. (39:27 2006)
