This Australian mixed voice gospel choir has Soul with a capital "S" - and they definitely shine on this collection of all-original gospel music, featuring compositions by director Tony Backhouse, Judy Tihany, Arthur Baysting and Mike Gubb. Listening to this music is like being transported back in time to an old-time revival meeting, complete with all the hand-clapping and foot-stomping spirit that comes with it. The full, mature sound of the choir lifts the listener up on a sea of empassioned, empowered voices, and sets him or her down on the other side of salvation. If you like good old-fashioned gospel music, you need to check out this CD. (51:41 2004)
