This recording is composed of selections from the Concordia College Christmas Concert. The concert included about 500 student musicians, representing five choirs and a symphony orchestra. Many of the tracks are therefore, not strictly a cappella, but are accented with instrumental touches, as well as the spoken word. The CD is inspired by the 23rd Psalm. Renowned conductor René Clausen is known for his beautifully produced Christmas concerts. Experiencing such a concert in person would certainly bring one to an unimaginable pinnacle of Christmas spirituality because the CD itself, when carefully listened to, will bring you close.
