If opening track "Can't Stop Thinkin' About You" doesn't grab you, then you are simply un-grab-able! Soulful sounds abound on Firedrill's very mature-sounding debut. This may be their first recorded go-round, but they definitely have the mojo to back up all the heartfelt love songs on this EP. "Just the Two of Us" is absolutely gorgeous; "Can't Stop Thinkin' About You" makes you feel for the guy; "Lie on Lie" is one I hadn't heard before, but is a really solid pop performance. Of course, being an 80's child, "Sledgehammer" holds a special place in my heart, and Firedrill! does not disappoint. They do Peter Gabriel justice with some slick production work. This is a really good pop vocal band album, folks. Check it out and help support up-and-coming a cappella artists like Firedrill!

"I've been an a cappella fan dating back to the 1970's when my date and I would go see the Persuasions at Paul's Mall on Boylston St. Boston. This group FIREDRILL is destined for the big time !!
