This 1991 recording is somewhat reminiscent of Glad, with lush blending male voices and sophisticated arrangements. The CD will be of particular interest to church music directors, as many of these arrangements are available in an accompanying (Songbook). There are accessible yet different and thoroughly enjoyable performances of "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God," "All Creatures Of Our God and King," "In the Sweet By and By" and many more (19 in all).(38:50 1991)

"How I love hymnal songs, especially when they are sung a cappella. A lot of people were blessed by the Haven Quartet singers. "

"I'm buying two...one for my mom for Christmas and one to replace the cassette of this album I loaned to someone about 15 years ago. The cut "I Love You, Lord" is one of the lushest acapella quartet sounds you'll ever hear."
