Just 4 Kicks: All In Good Time
It is so wonderful to see another completely a cappella vocal jazz album. The focus here, not unlike the Four Freshmen, is on the harmony and what focus these four talented performers have! With such incredibly diverse repertoire, most groups would have a hard time keeping continuity, but that's certainly not the case here. Fast or slow, jazz or pop, Just 4 Kicks tackles them all with confidence and makes beautiful music. There isn't a weak track but the list of the best includes: a fantastic version of "I'm Walkin'," a personal favorite of this reviewer and vocal jazz standard "Alice In Wonderland" and a beautiful version of "A Quiet Place."
