Rajaton fans will be delighted by this DVD. The setting is a live concert, presumably in Finland. The sound quality is excellent, the visual content is high quality, shot on a stage through smoky blue light with some interesting effects. The singing is very tight, well-tuned and extremely beautiful. Those of you who have listened to their CDs know that Rajaton is hard to categorize. They have succeeded in mixing their classical, pop, and jazz backgrounds into a lovely stew of unique a cappella music. Almost all the tracks are in Finnish. (The two exceptions are "Lady Madonna", and a very funny, over-the-top rendition of ABBA's "Fernando.") Other highlights are "Tonttu" which showcases the exceptional solo voices of various members of the group, a really wild version of "Jingle Bells" (in Finnish) and "The Christmas Song" (also in Finnish). What a joy it is to see this amazing group perform. (71:11 2004)

"Phantastic ! A Christmas DVD with some extra music and additional features (interviews...all in finnish!). I prefer Rajaton without any amplification, the show is better "hands free" (mainly "Lady Madonna"), but nevertheless this DVD is a must for all people who like a capella music. "
