If this CD had been recorded in the studio it would be quite amazing. The fact that all the songs were recorded "live in various theatres during the 2003/2004 European tour" makes it stunning. Lead singer Luc Devens has a high tenor, rock-worthy voice that floats effortlessly over the tight harmonies of the other three singers in this Dutch quartet. He is obviously heavily influenced by Freddie Mercury (of Queen), Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin) and maybe even Jon Anderson (of Yes). The song selection is chosen to showcase his extraordinary vocal talent. This is not meant to slight the other three guys in the group - they sing really well too. The title track is faithful to the original by Faithless, very gentle and lovely. Sting's "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" is slowed down and mellowed effectively. "Uninvited" is intense and dramatic. Great song selection, flawless singing, and live to boot. Wow, it doesn't get much better than this. (50:30 2004)
