Don't confuse this with ordinary live albums! The Swingle Singers are exceptional musicians with a huge repertoire and an amazing soundman. As a result this album is cleaner live than most a cappella groups achieve in the studio. The song list includes lots of fresh material: a trio of Weill tunes, "September Song," "Alabama Song" and spirited "Mack The Knife," all newly arranged by group founder Ward Swingle, as well as "Amazing Grace," "Someone's Rocking My Dreamboat," rocking "Bohemian Rhapsody" and more. Old favorites include their amazing "1812 Overture," "Theme From Mission Impossible," "Air on the G string" and lots more - 19 songs in all. The sonic quality will disappoint none, plus there's only brief, unobtrusive applause. A real winner! (64:46 2002)
