This vintage recording was originally released in 1968, featuring eight mostly French singers (plus Ward Swingle), drums and string bass. Their signature jazz swing, wordless interpretation of a wide range of traditional carols is a unique and pleasurable addition to the holiday repertoire. Who else would do a foot-tapping medley of Norway's "O Jul Med Din Glede," Holland's "Komt, Verwondert U Hier Mensen" and English "Away In A Manger?"
