To commemorate the group's 10-year anniversary, Off the Beat put out "Bombtracks," a compilation album of the group's greatest hits from its first five albums. OTB has recorded an album for each of the ten years that have passed since the release of (the original) "Bombtracks." Now, after 20 years of existence, "Bombtracks: Best of 1997-2006" celebrates the second decade of music and friendship that OTB has shared with its listeners and each other.

The tracks on this album were selected by popular vote among the past and present members of Off the Beat. They represent what they think are their best from the albums recorded in their second ten years (No Static, Patio, Animal 57, Off the Beat, Take One, More Screaming, Burn Like a Roman Candle, Float and Kenophobia).
