National Lutheran Choir: Only a Manger
Be the first to review this product
Director Larry Fleming has pulled together a fine collection of accessible yet untraditional Christmas choral works. There are several by F. Melius Christiansen: lovely "Lost In The Night," rousing "Wake, Awake," and "Song of Mary" featuring a soprano solo. There are a number by well known composers: Poulenc's "Videntes Stelleam," and works by Brahms, Wagner, Bruckner and Grieg. Other lovely pieces include Raminsh's lush "Ubi Caritas" and spiritual "Mary Had A Baby." (52:42)
