I am one of the biggest "Blenders" fans there is. When I saw this DVD, I couldn't wait to see it because being on the west coast, I had only gotten to see The Blenders one time before they "split". I love the Christmas music and everything and the DVD is very well put together. I guess I'm just disappointed in the live performance. I knew that The Blenders overdubbed in the studio. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Whatever will make the best music. I'm just a little sad that the live performance was basically the CD's playing while the group sang along. It doesn't even sound like the lead singer is singing live. Really disappointing. I wished they would have done a few songs live. I know they can't do it all live...perhaps just re-arrange them in a four part style. But that didn't even happen. All in all, if you want to add this to your collection, know that you're only purchasing it for the visuals and not the live harmonies I was hoping for. I don't mean to bash The Blenders. That is not what I mean to do at all. Like I said, I am a big Blenders fan. Just disappointed that I bought this because I already have the CD's.
