As always, GLAD delivers a magnificent eclectic mix of Christian a cappella arrangements. From the superb, classic hymn arrangements, such as Paul Langford's "O Sacred Head Now Wounded", to its contemporary Christian counterparts, "Blessed Be Your Name", and "In Christ Alone", GLAD's dense harmonies consistantly prevail. Like no other a cappella group, Glad flawlessly exploits the rhymic aspect of music. They constantly sing awkward subdivisions in irregular meters (as if they were easy) in Don Hart's arrangement of "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name". Finally, GLAD ends its masterpiece with the simple, yet beautiful, "Be Still, My Soul." This CD is a must for anyone that enjoys listening to good music.
