A great selection of hymns for men's voices with imaginative arranging. But don't be fooled by the word "quartet". Nearly 50% of these require a 5th voice, and some need a 6th. Not for beginners, but terrific for an experienced ensemble.

From the rumble of the bass to the soar of the tenor, these are some of the best arrangements of classic hymns and spirituals I've ever discovered. Harmonies like the haunting "Near to the Heart of God" and the anthem "A Mighty Fortress" will fill a concert hall, church auditorium, or even an outdoor venue. While it does help having that fifth man around for many of the songs, there are still plenty of TTBB arrangements for your quartet to enjoy. For a real treat try "All Creatures of Our God and King" at your local cathedral.
