The entire BYU music Dept worked very hard at preparing and presenting this outstanding setting of American folk hymns, sung effortlessly with sensitivity and heartfelt emotion. The vocal & instrumental arrangements are superb, especially Ronald Staheli's 'How Can I Keep From Singing?' & Mack Wilburg's inspiring setting of 'Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing' which still moves me to tears! Every minute of this performance is delivered with a beautiful simplicity and ease of vocal production which really enhances the music & lyrics. This recording is also available on VHS, which is equally as moving as the CD, if not more. Watch for it on PBS!!!
