I was a bit skeptical when my friend put a gospel CD in the stereo on our latest drive. More then a bit skeptical. But the energy and vibrance that hit me from the first chord left me speechless. "Gospel Train" is truly an emotional ride, the high points being "John," "Fishers of Men," and of course, "Gospel Train." I was left in such a frenzy, I found myself shouting affirmations along with them. Then in that smooth, soulful style, they brought me back down to earth with "Amazing Grace" and "Away in a Manger," leaving my soul full and content. Not having the occasion to listen to gospel before, and never really enjoying it, I can truly say that I've been converted by Blue Cheese. Can I get an "Amen"!!?

Having grown up with a father who loved listening to 'Bluegrass Saturday Morning' on the radio, I was never a big fan. These guys, however, make me want to change the station and listen to nothing but the bluegrass/gospel combo.
