TR Griffin, aka Tom Griffin, was the founding member of the acappella sensation, Boyz Nite Out. His musical stylings and influence on the band are prevalent throughout the band's history and music CD's. His awards with band were numerous for his incredible songwriting talent, wonderful voice, and creative, catchy arrangements. With the release of this debut CD, TR Griffin really shows why he has accrued so many awards for his music talent. Wow! I was blown away for a project that was all voices are his. The tight vocals and awesome songwriting are prevalent on every song including the pop stylings on "Perfect Girl", the sexy vocals on "Sleeping Beauty", the hard rock feel of "Island Of Paradise", and the ultra funky feeling on "Funkae Monkey". It is the perfect blend of pop, rock, and funk. Any fan of contemporary acappella would find themselves singing the well-written and produced tunes over and over. TR is releasing a second CD of acappella hits due to be released in early 2006. His stylings are very impressive, and his voice is raspy and sexy. We will definitely be seeing TR Griffin soar in the music industry for some time. Check out his other CD's which feature his band - and some of the best pop rock contemporary christian music in the industry. I love this CD. It's Tom's work right after he was in Boyz Nite Out - and it has a cool "old skool" BNO flavor. I listen to it all the time and love it.
