This record HAS also three a cappella versions of ABBA songs (without orchestra backup). In "Voulez Vous," "Head Over Heels" and "Fernando" you hear only six voices instead of a full symphony orchestra -. but you hardly can tell the difference!

As with all of their other albums, Rajaton has excelled in what they do. This album brings a new shine to the music of ABBA. Recording with an orchestra for the first time doesn't take away from the a cappella sound that Rajaton has perfected. To that end, three of the tracks on this CD are voice-only, and will only make you shake your head with amazement.

Don't get me wrong: I am a huge fan of Rajaton's goal to produce quality vocal music, but I felt this release paled in comparison to their previous releases. Some (not all) of the pieces with orchestra felt like there was less energy, perhaps in contrast to the large instrumental support. Still a CD worth a listen to, particularly the last three tracks! Just don't expect the same Rajaton you've met in their other CDs.
